Sparkling Ale is an Australian invention. It is a style not found anywhere else in the world. I have often offer a Coopers Sparkling Ale to an overseas guest as one of Australia's finest beers. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Coopers Sparkling Ale
Brewer : Coopers
Alcoholic Content : 5.8 % Alc/Vol
Volume : 375 ml
Comment : Many a time (a few years go before the pub changed hands) I used to enjoy a Sparkling off the tap. There was always a race to grab the cloudiest glass. Coopers Sparkling always has the lees left in the bottle which gives it that great cloudiness and a marvelous flavour. If you try one Australian beer try this one. Michael Jackson, in his "Beer Companion", List this one as probably the world's best example of a Sparkling Ale. May/June 95 Winestate magazine said : " Higher alcohol and fruit, floral aroma. Hints of burnt toffee on the palate with good creamyness and well balanced. An attractive bitter aftertaste that is distinctive."

Goulburn Fine Sparkling Ale
Brewer : Goulburn Brewery Trust
Alcoholic Content : 4.2 % Alc/Vol
Volume : 750 ml
Comment : Nothing better a good sparkling ale after a long trip. This drop is good to wet the whistle after the trip from Sydney to Goulburn. A full flavoured ale.
